Processing for Manufacturing

Materials Joining Process Area (Saida Laboratory)

A key manufacturing technology is joining and welding in composite materials. Our research focuses on this technology and trailblazes the frontier of the joining and welding processes to establish technical guidelines. Our educational and research program methodically organizes the science of joining and welding processes and integrates these processes with useful techniques to realize practical applications. That is, we engineer intelligent manufacturing processes.
